About Our Neptune Financial Advisor Practice

We are a financial advisor practice serving clients in Neptune and nearby Monmouth County towns. Ask us a question and you get a direct answer: what is causing the problem, what each option costs and what you give up by choosing it. Then the decision is yours.

How We Work With Clients

Most people who come to us are not short on information. They are short on a clear explanation of how their own pieces fit together: a 401(k) from an old employer, an IRA, a brokerage account, a term policy bought years ago and a mortgage. Our job is to lay those pieces out on one page and show how each one affects the others.

We start with causes, not products. If your tax bill jumped, we look at why, such as a required minimum distribution, a large capital gain or Social Security benefits becoming taxable. If a portfolio has lagged, we check the allocation, the fund expense ratios and whether cash has been sitting idle before we suggest any change at all.

Meetings happen at our office or by phone and video, whichever is easier for you. You leave each one knowing what we found, what we recommend and what happens next. When something falls outside our work, such as drafting a will or a trust, we say so and tell you which kind of professional to bring in.

What You Can Expect From Us

Costs explained up front

Before you commit to anything, we walk through how we are paid and what the investments themselves cost, including fund expense ratios, trading costs and any insurance policy charges. You should see the total drag on your money, not just one line of it.

Options with the trade-offs attached

A Roth conversion can lower future taxes but raises this year's bill. A permanent life policy builds cash value but costs far more than term coverage. We put both sides in front of you so the choice reflects your goals, not ours.

No pressure to act today

Rolling over a pension or changing beneficiaries deserves time. We give you the numbers and let you think it over.

One plan, reviewed over time

Wealth management, retirement planning and tax management all draw on the same financial plan. We revisit it when your life changes, like a new job, the sale of a business or a death in the family, so the parts stay in step with each other.

Serving Neptune and Nearby Shore Towns

We work with individuals, couples, families, business owners and retirees in Neptune and surrounding towns, including Neptune City, Asbury Park, Ocean, Wall, Tinton Falls, Belmar and Spring Lake Heights. New Jersey's own income and inheritance tax rules shape many plans, so we account for them instead of treating federal rules as the whole picture. If driving to our office is inconvenient, a phone or video meeting covers the same ground.
